SCAN GRANTS

Grant-giving to deserving programs is part of SCAN's mission of advocacy on behalf of services that address the unmet needs of local seniors.

During 2007, SCAN gave approximately $17,000 to such efforts. 

SCAN welcomes applications from a broad range of non-profit organizations or others working as volunteers to help seniors.

Successful proposals will provide a meaningful contribution to local seniors' unmet needs. The organization's preference is to support efforts that help the largest number of seniors and do not duplicate the efforts of others.

Grants decisions are made by the organization's board of directors as resources allow. Requests for funds should be made on the application form that can be downloaded here.
